Ferrari has unveiled a new limited edition model commemorating its 60th anniversary in North America.
The Ferrari F60 America is based on the supercar maker's F12 Berlinetta. Priced at around $3.6 million, it will be limited to just 10 production examples.
The F60 America is powered by a 6.3-litre V12 engine producing 545kW and 690Nm, bringing a 0-100km/h time of 3.1 seconds. Drive is channelled to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
While it is based on the F12 Berlinetta, the F60 America doesn't share a single panel – the most obvious differentiations being its "light fabric top" that can be used at speeds of up to 120km/h.
Other cosmetic differences include a newly-sculpted front end, re-profiled bonnet, and new doors and front guards with air vents.
Instead of traditional red the F60 America is finished exclusively in a blue and white stripe colour scheme, a reference to the famous North American Racing Team cars of the '60s.
Ferrari has also used its racing history as inspiration for the fitout of the F60's interior.
All 10 F60 America editions were snapped up before the car was officially revealed in Beverly Hills this week.
